Legal Nurse Consultant
“I became a Legal Nurse Consultant because as a paralegal in the malpractice area, I saw a lot of false claims, and a lot of serious claims. Each type of claim made me want justice. I have always felt that medicine and law were close subjects, and that there is a need for understanding both, as well as joining them together.”

Why I Love Being an LNC:
“I love reviewing cases and finding a needle in a haystack, or issues that no one else sees. For instance, I just finished a case that was a wound case. However, there was gross negligence regarding lab results that eventually caused the death of the patient. I find it very rewarding when I can see the whole picture and am grateful that my training has allowed me to pick up on things that others might not see. And I appreciate when loved ones can obtain some justice for the patient”
