Why am I a Legal Nurse?

“I have worked as a bedside  nurse for over 15 years in ICU and PACU. I have always loved being involved with chart reviews and process improvement type projects. I enjoy the review of medical records to see what interventions may have been missed or to investigate what could have been done better for a patient. I have always had an interest in the legal side of nursing but didn’t know where to get started. Total Trial Solutions has given me a wonderful opportunity to learn how to be a successful LNC and I am thrilled to be a part of the team.”

What do I like about being a Legal Nurse Consultant?

“I love the flexibility! I have been looking for something to help me grow as a nurse and learn something new. I really enjoy reviewing medical records and “putting the pieces of the puzzle together” to figure issues out. I have experienced a lot during my years at the bedside and my background helps me pull the crucial pieces of a case together. I am detail oriented and organized which are great assets for writing merit reviews and cases.”
